StraightPerm.com now provides custom hairpieces for a more natural look. All hairpieces will be made to match your natural color and style.

The hairpieces can either be mounted by glue or by clip. All hairpieces are matched and styled individually to each customer.

1. Glue on hairpiece:
   
   
   
   Once the matched hairpiece is mounted by glue, the piece needs to be removed and set once every 2 weeks. Once removed, the hairpiece is conditioned to remove tangles and cleaned. The hair is then reset and styled to match your natural hairstyle.
   
   Due to the high maintenance required and natural wear-and-tear, the hairpiece lasts an average of 6 months. After 6 months the hairpiece will be sent in to be reset and repaired with new hair. The repair period of the new hairpiece will take several weeks.
   
   It is recommended to purchase 2 sets of hairpieces and our salon will hold the rebuilt hairpiece for safe keeping until the next rebuild is required.
   
   The benefits of a glued on hairpiece will allow for a more natural blend with your natural hair. Since the hairpiece is bonded with your natural hair, this will reduce accidental removal from string wind or water. A glued on hairpiece will flow more naturally with your natural hair and act as if it were part of your scalp.



2. "Ring-Clip" hairpiece:
   
   
   
   This style of hairpiece is attached using small ring-clips for a more comfortable and confidant fit. Using metal ring-clips allows for less maintenance and a longer period of use before resetting.
   
   Ring-clipped hairpieces allows for the benefits of glued on hairpiece with reduced maintenance.
   
   Once a ring-clipped hairpiece is mounted, the piece needs to be removed and set once every 5 to 6 weeks. The hairpiece will be conditioned and cleaned before the piece is reattached.
   
   A ring-clip customized hairpiece will last anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending on the care of the hairpiece.



3. "Ring-Clip" hairpiece strip:
   
   
   
   In order to fit a partial baldness, sometimes it isn't necessary to get a full hairpiece. Using strips of hair, these pieces can be layered to cover a balding region without fitting a whole hairpiece.
   
   This style will allow for more breathing of the scalp and provide a custom form fit small balding areas.
   
   These strips of hair will be clipped on using the ring-clip technique and will hold for 5 to 6 weeks depending on maintenance. When the piece is reset, the hairpiece will be conditioned and cleaned before the piece is reattached.
   
   Each strip of hair will last anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending on the care of the hairpiece.



4. Clipped on hairpiece:
   
   A clipped on hairpiece can be removed at anytime. Since there is less maintenance required for a clipped on hairpiece, a matched hairpiece can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months depending on how well you take care of your hairpiece.
