Victoria Is TR Goddess!!!!
I finally got my TR done. THermal Reconditioning, Japanese Straightening, Magic Straight Perm, Whatever you want to call it. I went to see Victoria at Straightperm.com on W, 6th Street in Los Angeles. Let me explain the miracle that Victoria performed. My hair was so bad that the previous salons I visited said my only option was to cut my hair off. I had severe hair damage with about 10 differnt textures and 8 different colors. Most of which was due to a really bad experience with a home color lift and 20 volume developer. Yuko wasnt and option for me and I was about to give up when I heard of Victoria from Tricia on this discussion board. Victoria used Liscio to turn my unworthy ball of fur into dark brown spun silk. My hair was a mass of unruly multi-colored snarled fuzzy curls. Now It is straight, sleek, and oh so shiny! Im ecstatic!
Victoria graduated from Vidal Sasson Beauty School and has been a perm specialist for 15 years, and in my opinion is the most skilled stylist I ve ever been to see. Not to mention the only one Ive ever trusted with scissors. She gave me the most beautiful cut I've ever had and the only one I've ever loved.
If you're looking for the ultimate TR (they call it Magic Straight) Specialist and have the opportunity to get to Los Angeles I highly recommend you go see her. Victoria and her adorable staff are amazing Hair Surgeons. Totally worth the 3 hour drive there. She saved my hair. A++ Salon.
Check it out at www.straightperm.com.This site even has before and afters with a step-by-step explanation of the process. Great price too!
Thanks to Victoria and her staff for giving me the hair I have always wanted. I am forever grateful.

The Straight Story

Hair Envy (har en'-ve) n. A feeling inspired by a sudden improvement in an acquaintance's hairstyle. Example: "Cindy's new stick-striaght locks! Total hair envy!"
Don't hate her because she's beautiful. One-up her and get yourself a Magic Straight Perm at Victoria's Salon in Korea Town. Owner Victoria Hwang has been battling curls, kicks, and frizz using incredible Acian process since before it became trendy in fancy salons. How? They start with a log-pH solution (gentler than a chemical relaxer), dry and ircon hair with UV-coated irons, and finish with a neutralizer to lock in straightness.
The real magic? Prices start at $200 (versus the $700 that you'd pay in West Hollywood). The downside: It takes all day. But the results last up to six months.
Who knows, maybe by then you'll have accepted your hair for what it is and realized that ringlets are sexy, too?

My TR was $275 but I also had corrective color done so It was $325 + Tip So so worth it ( im a dental student with two jobs and I think it was worth every penny I had to pinch to get it.) Now I can just blow it dry and put it up before bed and in the morning I let it down and leave it. I dont have to even use a brush. Victoria is really great! Good Luck and I hope you get it soon.
Straightperm.com would like to thank everyone for their support and their time to comment on how great our procedures really are.
